The Getty

The Getty is one of my favorite places in Southern California. I go at least once every two months. We went with the intention to work and get inspired while doing Viscom homework but we ended up visiting current exhibits instead. My friends forgot to charge their laptops before and there were no outlets available. The turner show was breathtaking, his way of handling watercolor and light amaze me, his oils show skill too but they don't captivate me as much as the watercolors do. We also caught the zeitgeist exhibit, I was happy to see a couple Klimt originals but I was expecting more sessionists and more late 1800's German art. Nevertheless it was an awesome day and the trip gave me the boost I needed to submerge into the upcoming weeks of chaos for finals.
